Isabel Menard is the Urology Residency Program Administrator at the University of Ottawa. She completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology, with a minor in Education, at Boston University while competing as a Division I student-athlete on the Women’s Ice Hockey team.

Isabel brings the same team-oriented mindset and commitment to excellence from her athletic background to her role within the Urology Residency Program. She is actively involved in all aspects of program administration and works closely with residents, faculty, and program leadership to support the successful delivery of the program. Throughout her career, she has also gained extensive experience working with a number of surgical programs, including Cardiac Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Surgical Oncology, among others.

Isabel’s dedication and contributions have been recognized by the Department of Surgery, including recognition at the annual Department of Surgery Holiday Party for her outstanding role as a Program Administrator.

Isabel is exceptionally responsive to resident needs and is often able to respond to questions, requests, and concerns within minutes. Her reliability, accessibility, and commitment to supporting residents make her an invaluable member of the Urology Residency Program team. She plays an essential role in ensuring that residents feel supported and that the program operates effectively and efficiently.
