Why Urology?

The range of complexity of procedures and technology we get to use, the high degree of success in the different treatments, the diverse patient population, and the people in the Canadian Urology community that I met throughout my training

 

Why did you choose Ottawa for residency?

Having done my undergrad in Ottawa, I saw the city as my second home. During my elective, I was impressed with the skills of the residents at every level of training. I realized the positive and encouraging environment that the Ottawa program provides and could see how it allowed the trainees to thrive.

 

What is your favourite thing about the Ottawa Urology residency program?

The Urology residents, staff surgeons, and nurses are the most supportive group. Working alongside and learning from these people makes every day the absolute best and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

 

Interests/Hobbies:

Play music, camping, scuba diving, skiing
